forgive, forget, move on

No one can decide for you when, how, or what you should forgive. And if you find it in your heart are you really able to forget? I don’t believe so. I believe that there will always be something in the back of your mind, in the core of your heart, that remembers. And moving on…what does that mean? Does it mean just go on about your life as if nothing has happened? That’s not necessarily moving on, it could really be just pretending or ignoring the issues. Moving on….does that mean walking away and never looking back?

I think that every circumstance and person will have a different view of what it means to forgive, forget, and move on. Every person will have a different view of what’s best for them and what’s best for someone else. But only you can know what’s best for you, and sometimes it takes time to figure that out.

Maybe you can’t forgive. Maybe you can’t forget. But you have to move on. Don’t let hurt, anger, or resentment block your vision to a better circumstance. Don’t block your blessings. Don’t get tunnel vision and lose the ability to see the blessings around you. Don’t lose sight of you.

God bless, and be blessed.
