Dealing with Toxic People

Dealing with toxic people is draining. The best method is to NOT deal with them. Unfortunately, some of the most toxic people are your family. But even when it’s family, you can still say NO, you can distance yourself, you can CHOOSE to not allow the toxic behavior to affect you.

Listening to other people’s drama and nonsense is exhausting. And I really don’t want to be exposed to it. I know I’m seen as mean and hateful, but if I don’t want to be a part of it then I have to distance myself.

And those attention seekers who talk about their life, drama, and bs but then claim their are such private people. Or they get upset when someone doesn’t respond the way they want. Really, just say you want attention. Why play games?

And then their are those who like to make sly remarks. Those who pretend to be happy for you but their envy makes it hard to be sincere and genuine. I’m a straight forward person so if you have something to say to me, just say it. I’ll either respond or ignore you. Depends on whether I feel you deserve a response.

Yes, today I’ve had my share of dealing with toxic people and I’m burned out. So, today I choose to NOT deal with them.

God bless, and be blessed.
